Follow-ups¶
A follow-up is a scheduled next action against a contact: a call to make, an email to send, a meeting to hold, a proposal to deliver.
Scheduling one¶
From a contact's detail page, Schedule follow-up:
- Date / time — when it's due
- Action type — Call, Email, Meeting or Proposal
- Notes — context for future-you
- Owner — which agent is responsible (defaults to the contact's assigned agent)
Scheduling a follow-up counts as activity, so it also clears the lead from the dormant list.
States¶
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Due in the future, not done |
| Overdue | Due date has passed, not done |
| Completed | Marked done |
The Follow-ups screen lists all of them and can be filtered by state. The daily agenda pulls the overdue and due-today ones automatically.
Completing one¶
Mark a follow-up done when you've done it. That records a completion time and moves it out of the agenda. Completing a follow-up is a good moment to also log an interaction describing what actually happened, and to schedule the next follow-up if the lead is still open.
Adding it to your calendar¶
Any follow-up can be exported as an .ics file — download it and open it in
Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar to get a reminder there too. This
works on the free plan.
