Dormancy alerts

What "dormant" means

A lead is dormant when both of these are true:

  1. It's open — the stage is not Won and not Lost.
  2. It's had no activity for at least the workspace's dormancy threshold (default 14 days). "Activity" is any of: an interaction logged, a follow-up scheduled, or a stage change.

That's it. There's no separate "mark as dormant" — the app works it out live from the lead's last-activity time every time you open the agenda.

Where you see it

  • Dashboard / daily agenda — the "Dormant leads" section, sorted by how long they've been silent (longest first).
  • Contact detail — a contact shows whether it's currently dormant and how many days it's been quiet.

The recommendation

Each dormant lead comes with a one-line suggested next step, chosen from the lead's stage and how stale it is — e.g. "In negotiation for 21 days with no contact — send a revised proposal or offer a call." It's a nudge, not a rule.

Changing the threshold

Settings → Dormancy threshold (admin, premium). Set it to match your sales cycle:

  • Short cycle (transactional, quick decisions) → 7 days
  • Typical → 14 days
  • Long / considered purchases → 30+ days

If your "dormant" count is always high, the threshold is probably too short for how your business actually sells.

On the free plan

You can see exactly how dormancy alerts look, running on the sample data. They run on your data once you're premium.
